the FIELD HOUSE

A piece of earth passed down through generations, reimagined. This place brought respite during times of chaos and ultimately became the defining anchor of home.

Architecturally, simple and elemental forms rest gently atop the land. The structure is organized by a human-scaled grid of 4'x4' squares that invisibly extends far beyond the interior boundaries of the house, stretching out toward the very edges of the field. It is a home held fast by time, yet making only a light, quiet imprint on the landscape.

Here, community gathers. Those in need of shelter are welcomed, and the stewards of this place serve as caretakers of dreams.

Through expansive glass, the eye is drawn to the distant view of the sunset reflecting on the treeline beyond—a moment that feels less like a view and more like an imprinted memory from a time before.
